Positium is a data analytics company that has its origins in the Geography Department of the University of Tartu. We are the only company in the world specialising in mobile positioning data for official statistics. Founded in 2003, we have over two decades of experience working with global clients and scientists alike. Positium strives for the future where every country in the world benefits from mobile positioning data for the good of society. We are now looking for two interns to join our mission in the summer of 2024.
We look for people who want to put their knowledge and skills to use in solving different problems and are passionate about location data. As an intern in Positium, you will be creating a series of insightful narratives and visual stories based on location data sourced from mobile devices, tailored to enhance the client’s understanding of tourist behaviours, preferences, and potential market opportunities. Your task involves data exploration and creation of data digging routines and visualisation frameworks that can be used for data storytelling. You will join our team of developers and data scientists, who are building large-scale solutions for location data analytics.
