Kokkuvõte
The browser-based digital signature solutions currently used in Estonia provide little security as the digital signature is constructed by the e-service provider on the server side and the signatory has no means to inspect the files before providing the signature.
The aim of the thesis is to propose and implement a browser-based signing solution where the file to be signed is automatically opened in a modified DigiDoc4 client and after signing automatically sent (uploaded) to the service provider. The solution must be convenient, but at the same time provide the signatory with the option to inspect files before signing them.
The outcome of the thesis should be a proof of concept implementation of the solution (modification of the official ID card software https://github.com/open-eid).
