Kokkuvõte | Lidar-camera fusion relies on knowing the precise distance and angle between lidars and cameras. This can be achieved with calibration. Currently the calibration procedure is manual and can take up to 30 minutes. We would like to do it automatically every time we go out with the car. For that we would need to set up automatic calibration setup in our garage, similar to what Lyft Level 5 has. Your job is to: * choose calibration targets that are visible both to lidar and camera (alternatively: base calibration on 3D reconstruction), * implement automatic calibration using those targets, * integrate this automatic calibration into Autoware. Potential cooperation with Technology Institute and Tõravere Observatory (Mihkel Pajusalu). |
