The task of this work is to study the technical steps that are required to validate a digital signature according to the legal requirements laid down in eIDAS Article 32.
Potential tasks:
- Describe the technical validation algorithm that is required to satisfy the signature verification legal requirements laid down in eIDAS.
- Analyze whether digital signature formats used in other EU member states can be validated according to legal requirements.
- Several companies in the EU provide qualified electronic signature validation services. Create various invalid signatures to test whether the service implements all validation checks correctly.
