Comparison of Ethereum and Corda Platforms

Abstract
This bachelor's thesis provides a comparative analysis for creating decentralized applications focusing on two platforms Ethereum and Corda. Its purpose is to provide developers deciding on a platform with information to deduce an educated opinion. It starts of by giving a brief explanation of the blockchain and distributed ledger technologies with related terminology. Then comes a more in depth view of the selected platforms with the motivation for choosing these two for the thesis. The analysis is conducted based on almost identical application developed on both of the platforms. The comparative analysis brings out the biggest differences between on main use case and architecture among others.
