LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT: Hand dynamometer

Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to create Estonian materials of using Vernier hand dynamometer with LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT kit. Besides creating the material in estonian, it should help to make the learning process more interesting and fun for the students. The thesis explains matters, relevant to opportunities, the sensor offers when using with LEGO kit.
The thesis consists of three paragraphs. First paragraph explains physics behind the topic - force, its properties, definition and how to measure it. The second paragraph concentrates on the sensor itself, specifying its characteristics and a manual, how to use it with LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT. Third paragraph consists of four different exercises, made by author to exercise using Vernier hand dynamometer in different scenarios. The exercises are ordered by their level of complexity so the first exercise is easiest and fourth one is the hardest. Each exercise has an instruction for possible solution and all the example programs are bundled on a CD added to the thesis.
The structure of this bachelor thesis is similar to other thesis about LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT kit so it suitable to be used in estonian schools by teachers and students as well.
