Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to create complete document about LEGO Mindstorms NXT compatible with Vernier blood pressure sensor, which can be used at schools. This thesis should also help teachers to make learning more interesting for students. The thesis is divided into three paragraphs. The first paragraph describes blood pressure as a physical phenomenon. The paragraph also contains a brief history of measuring blood pressure. The second paragraph focuses on the usage of LEGO Mindstorms NXT kit together with Vernier blood pressure sensor. In the paragraph there is a basic guide, how to use Vernier blood pressure sensor and thorough guide on how to use the mentioned Vernier blood pressure sensor with LEGO Mindstorms NXT kit. The paragraph also describes all the calculation that need to be carried out in order to get a reasonable value from the measurements. The third paragraph contains an overview of exercises and experiments that can be solved or carried out by using LEGO Mindstorms NXT kit with Vernier blood pressure sensor. This thesis follows same principles as the other theses about LEGO Mindstorms NXT kit. They share similar structure and intent of being used in estonian schools.
