Abstract
The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to create Estonian learning materials for teachers and students about the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 WiFi usage. The material consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with the concept of WiFi and gives examples where it is used. It also explains wireless LAN security and wireless network creation. The second chapter gives the basic background of Edimax EW-7811UN and NetGear WNA1100 WiFi adapters and those producing companies. Adapters compatibility with the robot and the wireless connection between the robot and computer is also tested. The third part consists of observations and practical exercises related to the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 WiFi usage. There is one solution added to each exercise.
