Web Application for Fishermen

Abstract
In the process of current bachelor’s thesis a prototype of web application addressed to fishermen was constructed. During the process of the thesis the following technology was used: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. For the full functionality of the creat-ed web application the users need to create an user account, which enables to add and de-lete pictures and to evaluate and comment on the pictures of other users. Moreover, the users are able to watch the picture gallery. The most significant part of the web application is the ability to perform a search in the picture database created by the users, thereat it is possible to search through the following criteria: state, county, body of water, period, user who added the picture, the data of the fish in the picture (species, the range of weight and length).
