Abstract
Gene Ontology is a set of knowledge that is in constant change, because of changes and updates made from gene data. g:Profiler is a popular web tool that uses Gene Ontology information to describe the gene lists according to their functionality. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to use the data mining methods to analyse and describe the changes that have occured in Gene Ontology over time according to human data. Further, electronic annotations are being reviewed and evaluated using various data mining methods. For this purpose, g:Profiler data archives dating back to 2009 are used.
