Voice Assistant Framework for the Estonian Language

Abstract
The goal of the bachelor’s thesis was to create an Estonian virtual assistant framework as a smart device application. A virtual assistant can determine an action based on the user's speech and execute it, whereas the framework is only capable of deciding what action the user requested. The software was tested with volunteers, who gave voice commands to the application. This offered some insight into the accuracy of the predictions and the weaknesses of the system. Simple problems, that emerged whilst testing, were removed from the software in the scope of this thesis. To further improve the system additions were proposed, which would improve usability of the application.
