Abstract
This thesis is an overview of the process of testing the new IPad Pro 2020 LiDAR sensor as a 3D scanner. The paper mainly consists of an analysis of the problems that arise with 3D scanning and how to solve them. Alongside, it shows off which objects are easier for the scanner to pick up and which are harder. The author also gives and overview of some methods for processing the 3D models and how to improve their quality. In the end, the author made a demo app that showcases the models and their quality.
