Creating Materials for the Introductory Programming Course

Abstract
Computer programming (LTAT.03.001) is a widely used course at the University of Tar-tu. Its learning materials haven’t been updated for a long time, therefore the materials are not actual and most effective anymore. The purpose of this thesis is to upgrade the course’s material. In order to upgrade the course, the author analyzed different Python introductory courses in the world and compared them to course’s textbook. 8 subjects were chosen to be renewed. Every subject has newly written materials, tasks of the lab sessions, questions for revision, and tests.
