Development of Practice Session Materials for the Course “Introduction to Databases”

Abstract
The aim of this thesis was to develop practice session materials for the course
“Introduction to Databases” (MTAT.03.105) at the University of Tartu. The development of the materials was based on the model called ADDIE. As a result of this thesis eight chapters of practice session materials were uploaded to the Institute of Computer Science courses web page with heavy emphasis on teaching SQL with interactive self-evaluation tests. A questionnaire was developed to evaluate the materials. The questionnaire was answered by the teachers of the course.
