Development of Raspberry Pi Based Hardware Module for the Grammar School Course „Software Engineering“

Abstract
The main goal for this bachelor’s thesis was to form a Raspberry Pi based extra module for the grammar school course “Software engineering” with the main aim on hardware and using different hardware with the Raspberry Pi. The module in hand consists of 12 lessons that have been spread across 6 different topics throughout which the students acquire basic knowledge about the Raspberry Pi and other hardware components. The study module applies knowledge about programming with Python to a more hardware centric view. For the development of the course the author has applied the ADDIE model to create course of the highest standards and quality. In the bachelor’s thesis the author has described the Raspberry Pi, other hardware components used in the course, the programming language Python and the process of creating the course.
