Abstract
The main objective of this thesis is to create a sentiment analysis algorithm for the feedback written by students in the study information system (ÕIS) of the University of Tartu, to implement it and evaluate its accuracy. The paper provides an overview of the necessity and use of sentiment analysis, analysis methods, problems and the work done in Estonia so far. In addition, the main tools used for sentiment analysis are introduced. Finally, the datasets, the methods used, and the results are analyzed in more detail.
