Developing Automated Tests in Databases Course for Giving Feedback to Students

Abstract
The aim of this thesis was to create automated tests in Databases course in PostgreSQL and to gather feedback on user experience from both, the students and lecturers. The automated tests were written during the spring semester of 2023 and were put into use already during the development. From analyzing the conducted surveys, it was discovered that from the students’ point of view the feedback given by the automated tests could be better, but the lecturers thought it was sufficient. In the future both, the students and the lecturers wish to be able to use fully automated tests.
