Abstract
This thesis is part of a larger project on control of robots in automated valet car parking systems.
The goal is to extend a beautiful web based tool for the visualization and simulation of these car parks. The web tool currently shows the location and movements of the cars and robots, which it receives in bulk from the server, without user interaction. (The code was developed with user interaction in mind, though.
The functionality that should be added includes the possibility for the user to simulate the arrival of a new car, and a car owner's request to retrieve a car. These requests must then be communicated to the server, which computes the control commands for the robots, which are transmitted back to the web client.
