Abstract
Various topics possible, depending on the student. Some examples: security of core blockchain ledger and alternatives to proof of work, privacy and blockchain, zero-knowledge protocols for blockchain, using blockchain as a trusted third party. Lipmaa's group obtained a large EU funding for working on blockchains and privacy. Hence, there is a possibility to continue as a PhD student.
