Abstract
At the master level, you should try to push further the accuracy of metaphor identification for English or for another language for which there are annotated metaphor corpora. The thesis should contain an evaluative framework. The best algorithms nowadays are based on the deep learning framework. However, be prepared to integrate into your algorithm sources of linguistic knowledge like FrameNet.
