Kokkuvõte

This is a continuation of the previous thesis topic, where the student has successfully collected some (not all) datasets. Thesis supervisor will help you collect the data. CloudTraceBucket (CTB) is in its preliminary state with the feature to upload and download the public datasets to/from the CTB. The upload datasets go through a preprocessing stage before storing in a generalised format. The necessary API endpoints are developed to enable those features. The CloudTraceBucket platform will provide the research community to visualise and download the data based on their requirement.
In this topic, the student will improve the platform with several features. For example, the integration of third party visualisation tools, improving the generalised schemas to support other types of cloud traces, e.g. serverless platforms, workloads, and users’ requests etc. Several cloud data sets are available from Google, Yahoo, Alibaba, Facebook, and other cloud providers.
