Can I go on a trip now? Analyzing Tweets during and post COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract
The coronavirus that caused a worldwide pandemic, known as COVID-19, was first reported in December 2019 in China. Countries around the world applied various prevention measures to restrict the spread of the virus. As a preventive measure, we were reluctant to go on a travel. In this study, we will analyze public opinions expressed on Twitter regarding whether or not to go on trips. We will investigate the general public’s attitude toward trips during the Covid-19 pandemic, the temporal trend of public attitudes changed over time as the pandemic progressed as well as their concerns.

Outcome: Comprehensive analysis of people’s attitudes on trips since the Covid-19 breakout.
