Abstract
This project involves creating a web application that automatically scans incoming emails to extract and display events information. You might use Microsoft Graph API and other Microsoft services. The application will be registered in Azure AD with appropriate permissions to read emails. The backend can be built using Python's Flask framework (you are free to choose others), with authentication handled by the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) to ensure secure access to email data. The application parses emails (or uses LLM/ChatGPT API) to identify event details such as names, times, and locations and presents this information on a simple, user-friendly web page.
