Abstract
Research Question:
What ethical dilemmas arise in the pursuit of developing superintelligent AI, and how do these dilemmas affect alignment strategies?
Qualitative Methods:
In-Depth Interviews: Conduct in-depth interviews with AI researchers, ethicists, and industry leaders to explore their views on the ethical implications of superintelligent AI development.
Document Analysis: Analyze existing ethical guidelines, research papers, and policy documents related to AI development to understand the prevailing ethical considerations.
Data Analysis:
Apply thematic analysis to develop insights into the ethical dilemmas identified by participants and compare these with findings from document analysis to highlight areas of consensus or conflict.
