Abstract
This Bachelor thesis presents University of Tartu computer science students’ speciality choice reasons and factors that influence them in 2013. In addition is analyzed students’ expectations towards curriculum and what may put students intrested in information techology. This study is based on results of two surveys conducted among first-year students and comparisons to interviews with students.
