Abstract
This master’s thesis gives a broad overview of data warehouses and it’s terminology, architecture and processes. Another important subject is design workflow and it’s subprocesses. To give an example of theory, a prototype datamart is designed and built for Tartu University’s Reporting System to provide reports about students academic performance.
