Abstract
The purpose of this bachelor's thesis was to implement a flexible systems and application monitoring solution to monitor the servers of large-scale software systems. The monitoring solution was implemented based on the EUIF project of Nortal. It was composed of monitoring tools Prometheus, Micrometer and Grafana and is easily horisontally scaleable to new applications.
The thesis describes the implementation of the monitoring solution for three EUIF applications. The result is a tool that developers can use to monitor different system and application metrics in real time to identify and fix problems more efficiently.
