Abstract
The real estate sector plays an important role in the global economy, contributing to employment, GDP and social development. However, the sector also has a significant impact on the environment, consuming large amounts of energy and producing greenhouse gases. This thesis provides an overview of the importance of sustainability performance reporting in the real estate sector, reporting frameworks and standards, and information systems for collecting and analyzing the data required to prepare the report. The aim of the work is to develop proposals for the management of Forus for the selection of an information system for the collection and analysis of sustainability reporting data. For this, the requirements and selection criteria of Forus for the data collection and analysis information system of sustainability reporting are gathered based on expert interviews, an analytical hierarchy process is carried out to make a choice between alternatives. As a result of the work, the author makes suggestions to the management of Forus for the selection of the data collection and analysis information system necessary for the preparation of the sustainability report.
