Abstract
The master's thesis analyzes the business processes of Private Hobby School Knowledge Centre Collegium Eruditionis, identifying problem areas and opportunities for optimizing processes through information technology solutions. The background of Private Hobby School Knowledge Centre Collegium Eruditionis is presented, as well as the current business processes for contract signing, conducting classes, and managing classes. An overview of the current situation is presented using process models, which reveal problem areas in the business processes. To find solutions for the problem areas, the study compares the functionalities of information systems used in Estonian hobby education, and proposes the introduction of a new information system for the hobby school based on the comparison. The implementation of the new information system in business processes would provide opportunities for optimizing the hobby school's operations. The final part of the thesis presents models and descriptions of future processes. The proposed recommendations will be communicated to the director of Private Hobby School Knowledge Centre Collegium Eruditionis.
